Every day the engineers at Upcon Technology engage on their “Mission Impossible” of pushing the power conversion efficiency up towards 100%.

This goal is truly impossible but at Upcon Technology we take small steps every day that gets us closer to the impossible.

The pursue of the highest possible efficiency is our leading star. Other parameters like reliability, flexibility and cost are equally important but the benefits of having high efficiency reflects positively on these other parameters. Having high efficiency reduces heat generation which is an import parameter when considering reliability. Reducing heat generation also allows for more compact designs increasing product flexibility. With the increase of energy costs high efficiency will reduce lifetime product cost while being an environmentally good solution.
